One of the wedding guests had a swim in the Thames there a few weeks ago!

However, most people prefer to swim a short way upstream on the Windrush just before it joins the Thames at Newbridge.

(but it doesn’t take too much persuasion to make an extra trip).

Staff are so friendly, you always feel like a VIP. Plus look our for Archimedes the real life dinky little owl sitting on reception!

The next best spot is have tea outside on a warm day. Make sure you have plenty of time to explore when you go, the gardens are lovely and no one minds you having a wander.

I always find something to buy and the stock is constantly changing with a good selection of dealers. Pyt House Garden cafe is just down the road so always combine a trip to both.
